Trade2Race is another graphically based market game just like gnuTrade . This is not a free market game and is based around betting on securities that you think will perform the best against other similar securities over a period of time. Trade2Win also has both 3D and 2D views of the game. The 3D version requires shockwave player to be installed and only works with firefox and IE. You do not need a lot of financial knowledge to play this game but it definitely helps. The creators of this game claim that you have a higher chance of winning than any other betting game online.

Betting:

This game is easy to play and quite a lot of fun. I’m not sure about the odds though because you are not just betting on whether a specific security will go up or down. You also have to determine if that security will go up more than another 1 or 2 securities over a 1 to 5 minute period which can be tough. Races or competitions can involve 1-3 securities in either the stock, commodity or forex category. It costs real money to place a bet. For example one of the races currently available features 3 currencies, CHF, JPY and GBP. Winner takes 6 Euros and the best costs 2 Euros with a duration of 1 minute. Because there are 3 currencies in this race, there can be 3 players. Place a bet on a currency by simply clicking on it, as soon as 2 other players are found the race will begin. If at the end of 1 minute your currency performed the best, you will win 6 Euros. If your currency wins a race you will have to pay a 10% winning fee also which goes to Trade2Win. I won a 2 player race that cost £5 to enter and received £9.

You are able to join as many races as you want at the same time. An interesting feature I noticed is that you are able to freeze your current position if you feel your security is doing particularly well with the “Hold Value” button. You are able to cancel a bet as long as the race has not started.

Cashing Out:

You are able to withdraw your winnings from Trade2Race when you have at least £20 of non-bonus money and you may only withdraw up to £1000 per day.

History Tracking:

Trade2Race stores all of your betting/race history under the “Races History” tab. You can see exactly when you placed the bet, how much it cost you, what you bet on, race name and how many players were in that market game race.
