Playing:
The main goal in Industry Masters is to increase the share price of your company. You will start as the Vice President and will work your way up to the CEO after 4 rounds of game play. You can count on each rounds difficulty increasing as you work your way up the corporate ladder. To participate in each round, business units are required. A business unit is a business within an industry. If you own multiple business units within the same industry, you will be positively affected by economies of scale and the synergy between your two businesses. Community and Portfolio:
The multiplayer version of the game runs as a competition between different players companies. Comprehensive community real time data can be tracked via a chart in the member section. This includes the share price, strategy used, credit rating, debt ratio, revenues, EBIT, Funding, ratios and growth rates. Its quite impressive. Industry Masters claims to have a real time support center with a one business day delay. Confused? It doesn’t make any sense to me either. There is also a AJAX enabled community chat area for players to talk in actual real time though.
